Dual Pros With Charging Case

What’s going on?

Won’t connect or pair

Let’s walk through the steps to get everything connected and working smoothly.

Prefer to read? The same steps are below.

Step 1: Connect your adapter to your phone
  • USB-C ports: plug the USB-C adapter into the Mini Mic Pro, then connect it to your phone.
  • iPhone 14 or older (Lightning port): use the included Lightning adapter to connect the Mini Mic Pro to your phone.
Step 2: Pair
  • Hold the button on your Mini Mic Pro until it turns on. The light should be blinking green.
  • Once the light is solid green, your device is paired.
Step 3: Test the microphone
  • Open your phone’s voice recording app or video recording app.
  • Record a short test clip while speaking directly into the Mini Mic Pro.
  • Play it back and check for clear audio from the mic.
Still blinking red, or not connecting?

Brand new and the light won’t come on? The mics can arrive with a flat battery. See Won’t charge or turn on.

  • Hold the power button for 10 seconds to reset the device. The light should turn off, come back on, and blink.
  • Unplug the adapter and plug it back in.
  • The power light should now be solid green, which means the device is connected.
  • Open your voice memo or camera app and record to test the microphone.

Using an Android phone? Turn on OTG in your phone’s settings. The mic will not be detected without it.

What the lights mean

The light on your Mini Mic Pro tells you exactly where it is in the pairing process.

  • Blinking green: the mic is powered on and looking for its receiver.
  • Flashing red and green: the mic is trying to pair. Make sure your USB-C or Lightning adapter is connected to your phone.
  • Solid green: paired and ready to record.
  • Blinking red: the mic needs a reset. Hold the power button for 10 seconds, then reconnect the adapter.
  • White: charging. A full charge takes 2–3 hours.
  • Flashing green after it was already working: the mic is muted. Press the power button once to unmute.
  • One red flash, then solid green: reverb mode just turned on or off.
What the power button does
  • Hold: turn on (until solid green) or turn off.
  • Press once: mute or unmute.
  • Press twice: turn reverb on or off.

If the light never reaches solid green, work through Won’t connect or pair above.

No sound or poor sound

  • No sound or low sound: make sure all connections are secure and the microphone is selected as your device’s input source. Check for any debris blocking the sponge.
  • Static or background noise: hold the microphone still while recording, and keep it away from other electronics that could cause interference.
  • Muffled sound: check that the foam cover is seated properly and is dry.

If the mic still records nothing at all, it may not be paired — the power light should be solid green before you record.

Caring for your mic

A few easy habits will keep your Mini Mic Pro clean, well maintained and ready to use.

  • Avoid moisture: keep the microphone away from water and high humidity. Exposure to moisture can damage internal components.
  • Be mindful of hot or cold temperatures: store it in a cool, dry place. Extreme temperatures can affect performance and battery life.
  • Handle with care: always hold the microphone by its body and avoid pulling on the cables. Disconnect cables gently rather than yanking them.

Won’t charge or turn on

Brand new? For shipping safety rules, the mics leave us charged to 30% or less, so they can arrive completely flat. That’s normal and doesn’t mean anything is wrong. Charge them for 30–60 minutes before first use.

How to charge
  • Plug the mic into a power source using the included charging cable (USB to USB-C).
  • The mic’s light turns white while it’s charging.
  • A full charge takes 2–3 hours.
  • The receiver never needs charging. Only the two mics do.
Turning it on and off
  • On: hold the power button until the light is solid green.
  • Off: press and hold the power button.
Still nothing?
  • If the light doesn’t come on at all, charge the mic first. It may be fully flat.
  • If there’s no white light when it’s plugged in, try a different wall plug or USB port.

Only one mic works

Each mic has its own battery and its own power button, so check them one at a time.

  • Turn on both mics. Turning one on doesn’t turn on the other. Hold the power button on each until its light is solid green.
  • Light is off or won’t come on? That mic probably needs charging. Its light turns white while it charges.
  • Light is flashing green? That mic is muted. Press its power button once to unmute.
  • Light is flashing colors? Check the receiver is pushed all the way into your phone, then try again.

Using it with my phone or computer

Phones and tablets
  • USB-C (iPhone 15 and newer, most Android phones, newer iPads): plug the USB-C receiver straight into your device.
  • Lightning (iPhone 14 and older, older iPads): connect the included Lightning adapter first, then the receiver.
  • Android: turn on OTG, usually under Settings > Additional Settings (the exact place varies by phone). The mic won’t be detected without it.
Mac and Windows laptops
  • Plug in the receiver, open your system sound settings and choose “USB Audio 1.0” as your input.
  • Record with Voice Memos (Mac), Sound Recorder (Windows) or any recording app.
Good to know
  • The side port on the receiver charges your phone while the receiver is plugged in, so you can record and charge at the same time.
  • After connecting, record a short clip and play it back to make sure the mic is being used.

Returns and refunds

Bought on Amazon or Walmart?

Start the return from the order in your Amazon or Walmart account. Those returns go through the marketplace, so we can’t start them from here.

Bought on minimicpro.com?
  • You have 30 days from delivery to request a return.
  • The item needs to be in the condition you received it, in its original packaging, with your proof of purchase.
  • Ask us first using the form below. Once we accept the return, we’ll email you a return label and instructions. Packages sent back without a return request can’t be accepted.

Arrived damaged or not working? Choose Damaged or missing a part instead. We’d rather fix it than have you send it back.
